And what if he told you these gems are now up to 80% off and you should totally let him have them?

Vikings are renowned for their fierceness in combat, not their ability in building and maintaining settlements on unfamiliar lands. But that’s what they’ll be doing in the RTS/RPGs Cultures 1+2, in order to tame the Americas or fight the evil Midgard Serpent that threatens to devour Europe.

You’ve given a cutting-edge space fighter and a mission: destroy MegaCorp’s competitors by any means necessary. So hop on your Raptor: Call of the Shadows 2010, buy shiny upgrades, and let the enemy waves have it!

You’ve been (very) naughty. Time to be nice!

We’ve conquered Europe, slaughtered countless soldiers that were silly enough to stand in our way, and razed enemy settlements to the ground. Now it’s time to leave these well-meaning activities behind for a moment and let the spirit of Christmas warm our bloodthirsty hearts.

As it happens, 17th century Santa just dropped us a neat gift for the occasion. Let’s see what treats are inside:

– A new mission: Santa’s reindeer are in peril and you’re the only one who can rescue them and put Christmas back on track.
– Look out for christmas trees in your map and for peasants holding holiday-colored bags. Cute!
– The main menu, UI, and some in-game tweaks give the game a more festive and snowy ambiance to put you right in the mood.

If you haven’t yet tried Cossacks 3, now is the best time to give it a whirl. Not only do the holidays provide enough time to establish your rule over Europe but they’ve brought some nice surprises with them as well!

Recently updated and chock-full of fun activities and adventuring opportunities, Starbound is one of our year’s most promising InDev graduates.

Stardew Valley
Simple, addictive, and endless, the absolute indie hit of the year (developed by just ONE guy) made us all into accomplished farmers, explorers, harvesters, and lovers.

Grim Dawn
Some here say that isometric aRPGs have a new king and that he’s wearing some stunning gear, yields devastating weapons, and murders things with just a few mouseclicks.

A spiritual successor to Myst from the magicians behind the original series, this first-person adventure transported us to stunning worlds, where the familiar and the strange collide.

Darkest Dungeon
Brutal and unforgiving, this roguelike dragged us down to the depths of despair before giving us a glimpse of hope in the form of a well-timed critical hit. Then our team died. …read more
