Vengeance in a nutShell.

Bombshell, a top-down, explosive action-RPG about extracting some sweet intergalactic revenge, is available now DRM-free on GOG.com with GOG Galaxy achievements and a 10% launch discount.

The “Washington Incident” has certainly left a bad taste in Colonel Shelly Harrison’s smart mouth. Quite understandably so, since it was there that she lost her right arm and the rest of her bomb squad. Now working as a mercenary and sporting a handy mechanical arm made from mostly unknown materials, Bombshell is eager to start kicking serious alien butt across four different planets.

Slip into the shell of foul-mouthed Shelly “Bombshell” Harrison and blast away the legions of ugly aliens that seek to destroy our humble planet. The past-paced, frantic gunplay and the imposing bosses in 3D Realms’ latest offering will leave you no time for chewing bubblegum but what you will have in abundance are opportunities for crude comebacks. Use them wisely, wise-guy.

Punch and blast some manners into the alien terrorists as foul-tempered Bombshell, available now, DRM-free on GOG.com. If you want to do it with even more gusto, be sure to grab the soundtrack and artbook included in the Bombshell Deluxe Edition. But if you are not ready to commit yet, you can always get the Bombshell Deluxe Edition Upgrade later. The 10% launch discount will last until February 08, 5:59 PM GMT.

Brains required.

Project Zomboid, an open-world apocalypse-simulation of undying decisions, is available now DRM-free on GOG.com for Windows, Mac and Linux with a 40% launch discount.

Surviving the zombie apocalypse is no brainless endeavor. There are many grey matters of grave importance that need taken care of, like building or finding a sturdy shelter, scavenging for supplies, and making sure you stay mentally and physically healthy. This doesn’t mean you still won’t die, though.

There have been quite a few stepping stones leading up to the current state of Project Zomboid, as developers The Indie Stone will readily admit. Having been in development for over four years now, the game has undergone a significant number of improvements and alterations but the team also wants to keep implementing ambitious features like interesting interactions with NPCs and fully-functioning vehicles, as well as a reworked UI and stealth mechanics. The team is quite happy with the game’s ongoing success, so these additions are expected to hit within the year, way before the actual break of the inevitable zombie apocalypse.

Make your undying wish of cleverly surviving the zombie apocalypse come true and take on Project Zomboid, DRM-free on GOG.com. The 40% discount will last until February 2, 1:59 PM GMT.

We definitely asked for this.

Ashes of the Singularity, a vastly ambitious RTS of clashing transhuman armies, is available now DRM-free on GOG.com with GOG Galaxy support and a 25% launch discount.

Was relying on A.I.s to transcend our biological limitations ever going to end well? Sure, post-humans may have used their unprecedented potential to conquer space, transform the planet, and achieve feats once thought unimaginable. But the greedy, manipulative human nature apparently transcends all. And once triumphs over technology and space became commonplace, so did the war for ultimate supremacy.

It is fitting that a game dealing with the aftereffects of technological overreliance would utilise a multi-core A.I. that can simulate the challenge posed by (trans)human opponents in an awe-inspiring way. Developers Stardock are extremely proud of their A.I. engine but also of the sprawling maps over which the players’ super-detailed units will do battle. And while they keep themselves busy implementing community feedback regarding gameplay mechanics and balancing, they still aim to eventually add more playable factions, game modes, global abilities, and the single-player Ascendancy War.

Transcend the constraints of human nature and emerge victorious from the Ashes of the Singularity, DRM-free on GOG.com. The 25% discount will last until February 2, 1:59 PM GMT.
